Possible Tech Glitch in Forums area…
Not sure if it’s my Android tablet itself or a possible tech glitch going on in Forums Area , but the photos posted appear much larger, kind of extended ( they look longer in length up/down rather than normal size they ususally are, and when you go to post, the grey area shows up , you can hardly make-up to read/see what you write but then returns to normal in a few mins…just wanted you to be aware, in case…

I’ve noticed the same thing, Jacki, and I’m using a desktop computer.

I went through the forum but could not find an image that behaves that way.
Do you still experience that glitch?
If yes, could you point me to a topic/reply where it appears? -
I’m seeing it in forum topics where a lot of videos have been posted, such as “Favorites Solo Artist Songs”. It’s a temporary problem that eventually clears up, but the more videos that are posted, the longer it persists. The window for each video is vertically stretched to about twice its normal length. The image is enlarged as well, and the left and right edges are cut off.

I can see that the video is temporarily stretched to its original height while the video is loading but when the first video is ready to play all of the videos in the topic are back to normal when I tested it. This happens since WordPress update to version 5.5. and I hope it gets corrected in the next update.
I can however not see that happen with photos. Do you mean it happens with images too or only with videos?

I’ve only observed this effect with videos, not images. When I said “image” earlier, I just meant what you see in the video frame.

I echo David’s observations, we both experienced same issues.  and Thanks Rudi for looking into it, hoping you can find a solution or it will work itself out…

Once again, yesterday and today (Saturday still in Canada), I’ve noticed the same issues were occurring again on/off with video link posting/photos stretched looking/ and the area where you would type in post goes greyish and the text barely visible when one types….in the Forum area…is it because of video link file sizes, too many video links posted causing this or something else that’s possibly WordPress functionality related !? Just wanted to let you know it had occured again.

I’ve only noticed it in one or two Topics where there are many videos posted. Temporary solution: perhaps being more selective with the number of videos posted per Topic, or just referencing the video without posting the link.
