    Mona and Lisa,

So I Have a 2 fold question? Which one of your originals took the fastest time to record and which one took more time to record. I guess it would depend on how much was into the songs, meaning mixing, strings, horns, etc….

The longest we ever worked on a song was probably on something off of our debut album “When We’re Together” … Maybe “Nothing Is In Vain”. The better we became as musicians and the more experienced we became in the studio the faster we could get our ideas onto record.

That being said, songs like “Once Upon A Time” or “It’s Alright” from ORANGE also took a fair amount of time but that’s because we had changed the arrangements for what felt like a gazillion times 🙂

Many of our cover songs or originals like “Count On Me” or “In It For Love” took us a lot less time as the arrangement and instrumentation was less elaborate.

Thank you Lisa for getting back to me. You hit it right on with Count on Me, That one appears to be one that you both sat down and just did that one in one take. Funny thing I just listened to Nothing In Vain on the way home, such a great tune.
