I love your original songs and I can see where most of them came from but I want to know what was the inspiration or catalyst for the song “Sweet Lorraine.”   It is so different from anything else of yours that I’ve heard. I love it but whaaat?

Haha, we love a bit of dark comedy, and I guess a lot of that got channeled into “Sweet Lorraine”. We were intrigued by the idea of writing a “sweet” song with twisted lyrics, and using love as a catalyst for catastrophe seemed like the perfect opportunity to play around with that.
Imagine the song had “nice” lyrics – that would just be too much! 🙂

And to that I give Team MLT kudos, channeling their sense of humour as much as possible into songs, videos, I appreciate it, and that’s indeed what makes ” Sweet Lorraine” so effective ????????

I agree Lisa that if it had “nice” lyrics it would be so sweet it would rot your teeth out! thanks for your reply.

That contrast between the wonderful sweetness and those twisted dark humour lyrics make the song that much more sweet and stand out. Such brilliant songwriting Lisa, Kudos to Team MLT.
