When Im 64
So going back a bit here, i am sure you all have seen the video on U Tube when I’m 64? It is amazing to me to see the guitar work on this video. How they play off each other with the guitar riffs etc. AND of course the wonderful singing on this video, Mona does a great job with the lead vocal’s , but throwing this out there to see if anyone feels like I do with this song.

The video was a wonderful example of how MLT can take any song and make it uniquely their own while staying true to the original. It is a rare talent and one of the (many) reasons I love these girls (and Papa Rudi and Michaela)!

Mona and Lisa capture the essence of the song so wonderfully. Anyone can sing it, but Mona and Lisa give it the character and life that the Beatles meant it to have. They not only sing brilliantly, they look incredibly glamorous and fit right into the antiquated feel of the video.

That video is a major reason why I joined this club! I’ve always loved Paul’s old-timey songs, which John once characterized as “granny music”. When I was first perusing the MLT video catalog and found that they had recorded both When I’m 64 and Maxwell’s Silver Hammer, with great effort expended to make them seem of another time, I thought “Yes, they get it!”

All good points here. On this one of when I m 64 it was done with perfection from the sound to the outfits and singing and to my the coolest guitar playing between the two of them, my goodness so talented and the production of this video is the reason they are so good.
