Guitar set up.
Hi forgive me if this has been asked before but Lisa, how did you achieve the sound for guitar solo in Nowhere Man please. I have various pedals but cannot seem to get it to sound like yours.

Hi Paul,
I played the solo on the 12 string Rickenbacker (the one I use in the video) but also overdubbed it with my Fender Strat on the recording. I read that George and John both played the solo on their strats in unison which is why I thought a 12 sting would work too. I loved the sound of it, but the second 6-string helped give it some extra punch.

Hi Lisa, your creative guitar setup worked marvelously and then some! The guitar sounded so beautiful on Nowhere Man, such rich sounds. I recall seeing you both in that video practicing in your room and you gave us a glimpse of what your Nowhere Man could sound like that we all greatly anticipated, and boy did you deliver with a knock out punch. 🙂

Lisa do you think the 12 string Rick. would work on And Your Bird Can Sing? I know you’ve wanted to play it but couldn’t figure out how to get the sound.

Thanks Lisa, ido not have the luxury of a 12 string Rickenbacker but have been trying with a compressor, Maybe I’ll try with Les Paul with over dub with my strat, Thanks for giving me the set up. Stay groovy ????
