The Song Files Inquiry…..
As you showed us all during this most recent WOTT segment with Steve Harley album, your notes in binders…
Now you got me wondering, do you each or collectively, have a reference binder for all songs you’ve ever done or just certain ones that you’ve kept a reference binder of/for !?… Love all the sidebar notes, graphs, etc, you showed us in the segment in the binders, though I can’t read music/fully comprehend all that it entails, just very minimum basics I know of, but am familiar with seeing people write the chords, etc over lyrics on music sheets, etc… Thankyou. -

We definitely prepared extra well for the Steve Harley tour ???? When we work in the studio, we hardly ever write down any notes on paper but when we prepare for a live show, we usually like to print out the lyrics or chords for the songs we’re working on at band rehearsal.
Mona is usually better in keeping them all in one place/binder.We only ever use the notes for rehearsal though. Other than a setlist, no piece of paper makes it onto the stage ????

Thankyou Lisa for your reply ????????… what you said, makes musician’s sense ….!!!! Like me with my poems, I have some binders/ notebooks worth, some scraps of paper, napkins I’ve written poems on, etc… my phone, tablet… but along the way due to computer/tablet/phone issues or not having something handy to write down the poem as it was on my mind, I’ve lost a few potential poems.. but I keep on writing anyways and try to remember to save if online, or keep a wee notebook in my knapsack…
