Stuck in the middle with MLT
I think we all enjoyed the last Duo Session!!
Alan Smith made a comment that Sheryl Crow’s ‘All I Wanna Do’ would be a great cover for our favorite duo. I looked up some history on the song. It was made in 1993 and a critic (Greg Kot) called the song “a rewrite of Stealers Wheel’s ‘Stuck in the Middle with You'” I know our girls get bombarded with cover requests. But what the hell….why not throw one more on the pile.
Unfortunately, since I’m a jail nurse I have to change the ‘Stuck in the Middle’ lyrics to killers to the left of me, robbers to the right

Hi Diana. All I Wanna Do is a great song I think Mona and Lisa could cover super well.
Another good Sheryl Crow song would be “If It Makes You Happy” (my fave love this one), or “My Favourite Mistake”…. I felt they could do great justice to any Sheryl Crow song since their “Waiting for The Waiter” original with that bluesy sound they did.

Hi Diana, yeah that is a great one, one of my faves too of hers. There is also Every Day is A Winding Road, and Leaving Las Vegas I like. Sheryl Crow got on my radar around 2002 with her album Soak Up The Sun with a Beach Boys kind of hit.

Hearing/seeing MLT’s take on this song, Oh I was brought back to my fond 70s childhood memories of me listening, dancing, singing along to the radio whenever ” Stuck In The Middle With You” came on… truly Team MLT have the inate sense and gift of knowing what songs to do… so stoked that they did this one and was happy to have it stuck in my head ????????

I couldn’t agree more. I’m a child of the 70’s too. I’m always amazed at how they never miss the bull’s eye. I’m excited for this Friday to hear some of their new original music!! -

Me as well, loved the early 70’s music. Stuck in the Middle with you is such a great cover and they did it again, made this song their own, Mona with the lead vocals and strong rhythem plaing is off the charts and Lisa with that awesome guitar riffs, wow who can ask for more. They have this down to a sience with the arragement of all their music. I do lean to the early 70’s ( 1970 to 1974) to me the Mona Lisa Twins have a great library of music to cover. And their original music is second to none.
