Guess who turned 80 today! Another rock legend.
To honour Bob Dylan on his 80th, what better way than a Bob Dylan song with the brilliant music magic of Mona and Lisa.

There might have been a post in the past asking this, but what are some of your fave Bob Dylan songs, in case it evolved over time?
Mine is “Blowin In The Wind” still. Perhaps singing it regularly in grade 5 music class had something to do with it being permanently engraved as one of the greatest songs I know.
This is how I use to experience the song, with lyrics posted up on a overhead projector while our music teacher, “Mr Tambourine Man”, sang along beating the tambourine.

Yeah, we had a big to-do over Dylan a year or so ago, but since it’s his birthday…
I really love Blowin’ in the Wind too, provided that it’s sung in multi-part harmony like Peter, Paul and Mary’s cover. And I’m still a big fan of this one (under similar conditions), with its “talkin’ ’bout my generation” message:

Nice version David of Times They are a Changing, thanks for posting it. I know what you mean, when I hear Bob Dylan’s singing I think, it could do with some harmonies among other things, but what brilliant song writing.

Happy Belated 80th to Bob, Thankful for his songwriting, just not the singing…lol…sorry Bob, just the way it is with me, I think his son Jakob was blessed with a nice singing voice ???????? and give praise for MLT covering his songs, much enjoyed to my ears , their renditions of his stuff…!!
