Less Covid, More Live
I get notices from our local arts center, and Muriel Anderson is coming next month. The promo showed her playing with Tommy Emmanuel last year so I’m going to the show. It struck me that our center would be a great venue for a Duo Sessions concert. Minimal personnel and equipment, and pretty much whatever you needed could be rented for overseas venues, although the visas, etc. would still be as smooth and effortless as ever. And it could serve as a way to promote the new original album. Has a Duo Sessions tour ever been considered?

Hi Dale, that sounds like it’s going to be one heck of a show!
The reason we haven’t been touring over the last years is because we were prioritising other projects and right now want to focus on new original music. I think that once we want to make time for touring again, the added logistical challenge of touring with a full band vs as a duo wouldn’t be a reason to keep us from touring altogether.
Both would be an option for us but as a way to promote our original music, we would definitely prefer to play with other musicians to bring these songs alive on stage properly 🙂
