Mona and Lisa you did a great job on your Volume 1 with Mercedes Benz by the great Janis Joplin, so any chance of covering Piece of my Heart? In my mind I see Mona singing this great piece with her fantastic voice and Lisa tearing it up on the lead guitar. I listened to this the other day and thought of asking you both if this would be considered for a cover.

Hope all is well at the Wagners and just laying back on a Sunday afternoon listening to the JUKE BOX!!!

Hi Bill, hi Maddie,

We just had that song playing a couple of days ago, it’s such a standout track!

Covering someone as unique as Janis Joplin is always a challenge and I’m not sure if we’ll ever give “Piece Of My Heart” a go … but it’s an interesting idea and I’ll let it bounce around my head for a few days!

Thanks Mona for your reply, just got done watching I bought my self a politician and hope you did not get a bump or bruises from the kick from Lisa!!! LOL…
