Hyde Park
Mona and Lisa, have you both had a chance to visit Hyde Park in London? The Rolling Stones played a free concert there in 1969 following the death of Brian Jones and they played there again in 2012 for the 50th anniversary tour. And I find it quite beautiful from the footage I seen both in 1969 and 2012. Was wondering if you both had a chance to visit this historic park.

Yes, we’ve been to Hyde Park several times and even busked there back in 2013. We also saw the Beach Boys there that year, it was great!
It’s a beautiful green space and almost makes you forget that you are in the heart of one of the largest cities of the world. 🙂

Hi Mona. It was great to revisit those 2013 slideshow photos from your London trip. Thanks for posting it. I’d love to walk the “Abbey Road” zebra crossing (or zed-bra crossing in Canada) one day. 🙂
2013, that was 8 years ago already! Have to remember to smell the roses along the way more to savour the years on this rapidly spinning merry-go-round.

I live near Hyde Park but it’s here in N.Y.! Home of president FDR. We also have a Liverpool in N.Y. state! Not quite the same though.

Mona thank you so much for sharing photo’s of Hyde Park and Maddie loved seeing them as well. Sure is a beautiful place to visit and that is on my bucket list when I retire hopefully in 2022.
