I love that Mona and Lisa enjoy hiking and adventuring in the outdoors.

While I can still feel my tired and aching feet with blisters from hiking too much in poor walking shoes from my recent Vancouver Island tour and hiking trip, it felt fitting to go back and enjoy some of MLT’s hiking slideshows. Here are some favourite snapshots from those slideshows.

While I’ve slept outside in tents, I haven’t in the open air in the wild yet. Those pesky Canadian mosquitos. Mona and Lisa are brave. So proud and admire everything they do.

    Jung,

i made it to Buchart Gardens once. And then flew to Vancouver,

I think we landed in the Frazier river. We flew over the 49th parallel.

My favorite outdoorsy pics of the the twins are those summer mountain photos from Austria.

How about some photos of your own hikes?.

I’ve been swamped. I hope to catch up this weekend.

Hi Tom, here are some hiking photos I took today not too far from where I live in a park called Butzen Lake. We have a lot of trees and a cat.

    Hi Tom

I think it’s their 2011 hiking in the Alps photos. Some amazing scenery from there. Here are a few of Mona and Lisa hiking in the Austrian Alps. A definite bucket list place to experience.

Unfortunately I did not take any nature photos on the island, just some boring photos of Victoria. Since the luggage limit on the De Haviland DHC 3 Otter is 15 pounds a person, I decided to leave my Lumix camera at home, and unfortunately my better sneakers too. I did manage to capture a short video clip of our descent into Vancouver harbour from the float plane. Perhaps of interest for anyone curious what Vancouver looks like. It represents a good birds (Canada Goose) eye view of flying into downtown Vancouver. See video clip here. Excuse the poor video quality, as it was taken with my phone.

    Very nice photos Jung,

I am jealous of anyone with a lake nearby.

Lakes are becoming endangered species down here.
