Non MLT Xmas Songs You Like/Not Like …
Ok, just curious as to what Non MLT Xmas songs you enjoy/not really ….
Mine that I’m not keen on because , am physically sensitive to pitch of singing voice due to hearing issues …,The lead singer of The Pogues in “Fairytales of New York ” ( his voice and Neill Young & Bob Dylan’s– if others can sing their songs , I have no issues )– sorry but I can’t tolerate that song , but the girl who sings in….if only she had done it solo, I’d of probably enjoyed it better…
The ones off hand I can list that I enjoy :
– Bob n Doug McKenzie 12 Days of Xmas -Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer-I Want A Hippopotamus-Run Run Rudolph -Rockin Around The Xmas Tree,-Sleighride-Blue Xmas-All I Want For Xmas-Happy Hannukah-I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus-Winter Wonderland-Do They Know Its Xmas-Jingle Bell Rock …etc many more, too many to list by various singers/bands, versions .🎄🤘

In our family it is not really Christmas until we hear Nat King Cole sing The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire………..). Mike

One that I like is Please Be Home for Christmas by the Eagles.

With Christmas songs, I gravitate towards the old classics that I enjoy the most. Some of my top favourites would be Little Drummer Boy, What Child Is This, O Holy Night, Come All Ye Faithful..
Some of the modern ones I like are Paul McCartney’s Wonderful Christmas Time, Beach Boys Little Saint Nick.
Can’t really think of any I don’t like. Some Christmas songs like Silent Night lost it’s lustre over the years as I heard it overplayed so much, but MLTs acoustic version brought it back to life, and love MLTs version.
