Almost 8 inches of wet, heavy snow in a few hours overnight. Melting some as it fell and still snowing lightly and melting. Not complaining, as many others have much worse weather maladies to deal with but it kinda looks like Austria happened here right after the “Sound of Music” WOTT.

    Hi Jeff

Those photos look gorgeous, but I guess would be more fitting if it was December or January. We had a late wet snow fall in early March here in Vancouver which is quite late for my area, and some very light dusting of snow even this past weekend one morning. Winter seems to linger on. I hope it warms up for you soon, so you can enjoy the spring.

Today I went for a walk where I am, and I didn’t need my jacket for the first time, and some white fluffy cottony puffs of cumulous clouds littered the clear blue sky which is an indication of Spring, and it felt like Spring arrived, though it’s supposed to go down to 3C tonight, so not quite there yet. It did feel like a beautiful Any Other Day kind of wonderful day today as Spring made an appearance, and I started dreaming of traveling to a Destination Sunrise.

Forgot to wish you luck in the vinyl draw this Friday! You absolutely deserve one as an awesome club supporter and ambassador! Since they’re giving away two, ideally, I’d love to luck into the other one. 😉

    Thanks, Jung!

It’s been fairly warm since and even during that last snowfall, and most of the grass is showing again already. Spring keeps trying to gain a foothold but winter doesn’t want to give up yet. Thaws each day, freezes each night. You’re right, it makes for beautiful scenery and thankfully local flooding has been very minor this year. Many years my short work commute needs to detour around flood waters covering streets, but not so far this year. Junior college softball season started already and opening day was actually beautiful before this snow postponed games. Light snow still in the forecast off and on. Sounds like your spring activities are slightly ahead of schedule from ours. Be blessed and stay groovy, my friend!
