They finally did it, ALONE!!!
What an incredible experience at the MLT Club today for all the fans to experience MLTs refreshed recording and Duo Session of ALONE! An incredible gem. Thanks Tim Johnson for starting that petition, and everyone who rallied behind it.
I remember how impressed and over joyed I was when I learned ALONE, was actually an MLT first original, after listening to the 2007 concert album, and being captivated by this song every time I heard it for over a year. This revelation was revealed in a 2018 Ask The MLT forum post.
Lisa was so modest about it. Real geniuses always tend to be very modest about their amazing works.

Very well and eloquently stated, Jung Roe. And, like you… Thanks Tim!! Jung Roe, I agree a thousand percent with your statement about Lisa. She is a genius. And, she is a modest genius. Also, her twin sister is an exceptional artist herself. Mona is also modest and genius feeds off of genius. Lisa, Mona and The Beatles are artist that come along only once in a century or so. I feel so very fortunate to have been able to enjoy them all. What a gift‼️

Thanks Jerry! Mona and Lisa are both geniuses indeed. The fact they could write a song of this remarkable caliber at 13, their first original, says volumes about their genius talents. I don’t know, is it the air or water in Austria as it seems Mona and Lisa caught the Mozart bug at 13, and haven’t looked back.

Alone is like a precious seed Mona and Lisa planted when they wrote it and played it the first time when they were 12 or 13, and now 15 years later with their powerhouse talents even more refined and beautiful than ever, the song is ripe and ready to explode to it’s fullest potential for the whole world to experience it’s beauty. The new refreshed recording is stunning! Sometimes things work out in unexpected ways, and I am really looking forward to when MLT release this superlative gem for the whole world to experience it’s magnificence.

I was so thrilled when I watched the new release! As you say, “stunning”.
But something about the original brings me to tears. Joy, sorrow, wonderment, expectation, innocence; it’s sort of intangible, yet palpable. There is still just something so magical about the original. I love it. Maybe more.

No thanks needed to me for this one. That song is so beautiful someone would have coaxed its re-performance along eventually.
What surprised me is the Twins own assessment of it. Granted it is not like Yesterday, but there is so much magic in it. The 2007 performance was raw and unpolished because they were just starting out, but I am pretty sure Lennon/McCartney had nothing that good when they were 13. It just needed to be done by the ladies we now know. And I thank them for listening to us and adding the special touches of the same clothes. Every thing is first class with them.

Paul M’s first song was called ‘I lost my little girl’ at around the same age. I don’t think I am being controversial to say that ‘Alone’ is much better! 🙂
