Ice cube scene in Bus Stop and Mona gets swallowed by a gold fish in Notings In Vain. Mona may have been looking away when this scene got added.

I loved the That’s Life video when Mona tried to fix the TV set and it blows up on her. I don’t really get that video but that one moment tickles me. I love the whole vibe of the Listen Now video There are lots of parts that make me feel young and wonderful.

In “The Orange Year – 2017 Recap” video, I can’t help but chuckle (at 2:25) where Mona is seen and heard flexing her vocal chords. So funny and cute! Then (at 4:05) there is Lisa hard at it signing all the CDs and she stops to recall the term for the opposite of Ancestors, but settles with referring to all her fans as our “Children”. I thought that was funny and sweet.

To this list I’d add Mona laying out the trail of dog biscuits in “Won’t You Listen Now”, and the very end of “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” where Lisa bops Mona on the head and genuinely appears to worry that she hit her too hard.

I love the ‘Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind” video with John Sebastian. The whole video is humorous and creative. When he sings the “mousy little girl” line and Mona pops in, I laugh and think – There’s nothing mousy about Mona or Lisa! The guts, drive and determination they each have is amazing and their talent is so admirable. There’s dozens of wonderful terms I would use to describe the twins, but “mousy” would never come to mind.
