Top Fan
Hi Mona and Lisa. I know you are very busy writing songs for your new album so no hurry with any reply if one at all. I just hope the creative juices are flowing at the moment. Must say I am very excited to see I am now an official ‘Top Fan’. I feel like I am now not Just a member of an illustrious club, but also an elite member of that club.
My question is, what is the criteria for determining the status of ‘Top Fan’? Please ignore this request if you consider it inappropriate or too trivial. I’m so looking forward to your next video and one day this year, your new album. Don’t forget a date this year will mark the tenth anniversary of your Adelaide visit!

Hi Howard,
We’re glad you like your new Facebook “badge”! It isn’t something we actively give out but something that Facebook does automatically. We assume that people that comment and “like” a lot of our posts become “top fans”, so if that’s what you did … Thank you very much and please enjoy the Facebook algorithm’s decision 😉 (Though of course all the MLT Club members are top fans in our books!)
Just yesterday we got an upset email from someone that “lost” the Top Fan badge because he thought it’s something we choose to give/take away. After doing some research, we found out that we can’t change this setting ourselves (only deactivate the whole feature or remove badges but not “give” them). Thanks for being active over on Facebook and if you come across anyone else who is confused about the badge, we’d appreciate you passing on this information to help avoid misunderstandings!

Yes… I agree with Lisa… We All are Top MLTBuzzWorthies…. ????✌️☮️????????????????????❤️… Facebook Badges don’t do do the real justice????

“MLT Club members are top fans in our books”. Good, thank you Lisa! Because I don’t do facebook! Tried it MANY, MANY years ago and there’s just too much drama,etc. there. Plus it’s about as secure as a wet paper bag.

I “earned” my Top Fan badge on FB a couple weeks ago. I was actually surprised because I hadn’t made a lot of comments there (I’d only liked the page a few weeks before that). I have, however, been fairly prolific with my YouTube comments (I even got a “love” from the twins – dopamine rush), which makes me wonder if FaceBook and YouTube have a symbiotic relationship. Of course, now that I’m a “Top Fan” I almost feel obligated to make frequent comments. Almost. If you see me make a comment, it’s hopefully because I really felt like I had something to add to the stream.

Yeah, I have had a “Top Fan” designation and have lost it a couple of times over the years. It only reflects activity on the FaceBook page. Mike.
