Hi, y’all…
Lance, here, from the Star City of the South, Roanoke, Virginia in the States.
Great to be in the club.
I have to say this, to Mona & Lisa. Y’all tell me if I’m off base. Maybe it’s just me.
Ladies, you do the 60s sound so well, and the trademark Lennon/McCartney harmony as well,
but I have another similarity to add. Something I noticed watching you’re vids. It seems to me
that if Ann & Nancy Wilson had been performing in the ’60s. they would have been you. Mona
being like Nancy, and Lisa more like Ann. Just my humble opinion, of course.
Anyways, just wanted to pop in ‘n say “Hi”.

Welcome to the club, Lance!
I live two hours south of you, near Greensboro. I’ve visited Roanoke several times. Once I even drove up Mill Mountain to see the “star” up close.

Welcome to the Club Lance. This is the best club in the world. Mona and Lisa are no Ann and Nancy and vice versa imho.

Given Ann and Nancy Wilson are accomplished female musician siblings too they’ve been compared to Mona and Lisa on the forum a few times. I think from a guitarist perspective Nancy and Lisa are comparable. Nancy Wilson is touted as one of the greatest female guitarists of all time, and I think Lisa could hold her own in this esteemed company of greats by virtue of her artistry and diversity on the guitar. Lisa is like Nancy Wilson, Joan Jett, and Joni Mitchell all rolled into one and more. I think honestly Mona and Lisa’s incredible versatility as singers with their remarkable harmonies is incomparable among female artists.

Ann and Nancy Wilson are great musicians and vocalists, so thanks for the comparison! Especially Ann has done quite a lot of 60’s covers herself in solo projects so maybe you’re right! 😉

Thank ya so very much, ma’am. I have a friend in Liverpool, actually…she tells folks I’m the biggest Beatle fan she knows. Not real sure why…lol But I will admit I’m a pretty tough critic on Beatle covers, but you ladies are GEAR!!
