Jung,  Love the calligraphy.  I am not an MD but if you try to read my handwriting, you might think so and no, I don’t write prescriptions.  Aside from that, however, this note, says it all.
    Nice Job!

    Hi again Jacki,

I wholly agree.   May I ask the nature of art form?   The more Jung, you, and I communicate and learn more about each other I am beginning to believe we are kindred spirits.
We have the club to thank for that   New friends are always a good thing

Hi again Bob,… Lol… Perhaps we are Kindred HandWriter Spirits…

Not quite sure now as to what you meant by /in reference to specifically asking me about “Art Form”, in your reply to me…. I was meaning more in aspect of penmanship in general, to be reintroduced to being taught in schools, etc, included in artwork, etc.

I actually have an somewhat interesting back story on my own handwriting journey… I’ll give the “Reader’s Digest” version here:

In Kindergarten back in the day, my hand/eye co-ordination was never quite on oar with other kids in class, I was always smallest in my classes except one year… (Being born full term at 3 pounds/3 ounces-survived) I’m sure have had some reasons for some of my health issues and hand/eye coordination issues too). I started wearing glasses at 6 yrs old. Anyways.., always had trouble to print the capital “K” as was shown on paper /blackboard, etc. I saw it but just could not for life of me duplicate what I saw… Thus fast fwd to learning penmanship…. A disaster in the making for many school yrs and played part in having to repeat a year – – Grade 7  and thus in 2nd round of Grade 7, had to do for a few months about half hiur/hr before school started be in a Penmanship Workshop class, and it helped somewhat… Until the age of internet/smartphones… Kinda gone back to my sloppy disastrous penmanship ways… But still write out things by hand because, I enjoy handwritten ways, just got to pay a little more attn and time to maintain my degree of legible handwriting as I achieved during those Penmanship workshops quality in my school years. ??️✒️✏️?️?

Did I say we were kindred spirits?   Ha get this.   I was the second youngest in my class which was something I had to learn to live with as  a young kid myself.  I also had problems with penmanship.   In fact it was in 6 th grade that we were finally permitted to use a pen vs a pencil.   However I will give ya one guess who was NOT permitted and still had to use a pencil.   He finally relented after about half the year had passed.

Hi Jacki, I’ve certainly been enjoying what you do with your fountain pen here.  You make great use of it with your talent as poet and sketching art.  I on the other hand struggle, but I will keep trying to get better.  I have a couple of flex pens I like to try to develop some calligraphy skills with.  Anyway love your creativity which is so inspiring.  There is something special about creating things, where there was nothing there before, because you are giving something to this world.

Hi Bob, yes I think we are kindred spirits here the 3 of us.  🙂  I think Howard too, if he gets around to showing us his handiwork with his pens 🙂

I can relate to the penmanship challenges as a kid too in grade school.  My hand writing always seemed to pale in comparison to the other kids.  Even through high school my cursive was much to be desired, so I switched to printing with 0.5 mm mechanical pencil which seemed to make my hand writing look a little more acceptable.  Started using fountain pens, about 11 years ago, and resumed cursive too, and haven’t looked back.

    Jacki,

I am not sure what other similarities we have.  Maybe we should be afraid to find out
I am already an “evil twin”.   My father was the Little League coach for my brother and me and the assistant coach’s son was our pitcher.   They lived down the street from us.  His daughter and I were born on the same day about 2 hours before I.  She would call me her little brother.  I told her I was her evil twin She and I still keep in touch over Facebook and she still lives in town   She and her husband own a bar/restaurant

Jung,   I love the talent.   Something which I do not have.  I print also, at least people won’t  think I am prescribing medication.

    Lol… Thankyou both Jung/Bob…

Bob… Well now, that’s just more incentive to find out what exactly else we 3 could in commonly share…. Intriguing  more and more…. I may have to conjure up a poem…. We’ll see ??
