“Imagine” all the people…..
In these last few weeks as I watch everything that is happening in this world because of the pandemic, this song somehow rings a greater relevance and meaning these days.
The virus knows no boundaries, religion, class, or wealth, and is a great equalizer, showing how vulnerable humanity really is.
The WHO and the UN leaders tell us that to fight this invisible enemy, our strength is in our global unity, and the world must work together as one.
I just can’t help but feel when things get better, we should appreciate everything we take for granted on this this precious little blue marble we share, and try to care and help one another more.

Yes, Jung, that would be my hope too, while this has also brought out the worst in some unfortunately, I hope out of this whole crisis, a new found unity of respect, caring, towards others and new fresh start on global peace and harmony will take forth and spawn but of the best intentions towards kindness and renewed Postivity for all☮️

Hi Jacki, yes if anything good can come out of this, hope it will be the innate goodness in humanity to care and help one another in this and future global crisis, as we are all in the same boat.
Speaking of boats, that Holland America Cruise Ship “Zaandam” in the news these days that is stranded off the coast in Florida with many sick Covid-19 infected passengers is the very ship I was on just a few months ago. Being on the ship for a week you get to befriend some of the wonderful crew, from the room stewards to the dining room staff etc we saw every day who are likely stranded along with the passengers right now. My heart goes out to them and the passengers, as it must be very dire on that ship right now given how easily and rapidly infections can spread on a ship. Of course this is just one of many tragedies being played out all over the world right now that is affecting so many lives. It is truly heart wrenching.

Wow, Jung, am Thankful you weren’t on that ship now… You timed your trip just right and got home in time too… Yes, sad for all indeed but both Tourism & Music Industry in particular, hit hardest, moreso as they both involve large gatherings as part of but not full sustainment on their part, musicians who rely on touring for partial and/or full income sustainment… But with today’s tech advancenent, it ‘s helpful that they can use that to still earn a living… As for tourism in terms of leisure travel, weddings, etc, unfortunately, those will definitely take a massive toll and hot…. But I do hope out of all this madness, a renewed appreciation and respect and global harmony will emerge and all have learned valuable tools to further enrich for the good. ?☮️

Agree to all of the above. At times I ask my wife if there were 5 people in history that we could talk too , who would they be. One of them for me is John Lennon. Jung, I agree with your sentiment about “Imagine.” Stay safe all

Thanks Jacki. I saw on the news the other day that in some places in the UK, the goats are having a wonderful time these days which gave me a little chuckle.
Where have the people gone? We miss having them around.

Mona and Lisa’s incredible cover of Imagine, brought this song back to the forefront for me. I think only MLT can express it today with the same passion and beauty as when John Lennon introduced it to the world 50 years ago.

Indeed on all that’s been said here by Jung, others… By the way, the Goat Take Over was funny to watch…. Enjoyed… That’s what we need to see, to smile and laugh, good music, MLT style, to help Kerp our sanity intact to cope with all that is going on for time being.
We are all music, we can write our own lyrics, but together, we create the harmony and melody to offer the best sound that’s beautiful to hear…. Let’s compose a song, to overcome…. ☮️
