I am sitting here in quarantine on a particularly rainy and overall yucky day … BUT I am listening to MonaLisa Twins “Orange” CD and I am hypnotized. Honestly, the more that I listen to this album, the more I love it and the more impressed I am at their artistry, talent and exquisite presentation. From out of this seemingly miserable day, I have been lifted up by beautiful songs sung by beautiful women with phenomenal talent. Thank you for this terrific collection of songs… it is truly one of my all-time favorites.

I echo that Brian about Orange and When We’re Together.  I never tire listening to their albums as I get something new out of it every time I listen to it.  That’s what great art does and is why masterpieces stand the test of time.  There is great artistry in their music indeed.

Put me down as Thirdly echoing the sentiments expressed here… In full agreement, it’s the music that needs to be shared and heard in our world by all… ??

And you can put me down as fourthly echoing those sentiments. “Orange” can bring something new with each new listening. Better still, leave it for a couple of weeks and it can be a little like hearing some of the songs for the first time. Not likely to be that long though when you have the jukebox on with its random rotation.

I must admit though, with my favourite bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks and The Who and Led Zeppelin, by the end of the eighties, I had listened to them so much I was starting to listen to more obscure (for me), bands of the sixties and seventies.

Fortunately the MLT came along and breathed new life into my old favourites and I immediately fell in love with the MLT and their vision!

I fully agree with what everyone is saying here.  The first time I heard Orange there were a few songs that I immediately loved, and the rest caused me to shrug.  But with each listening the shrugs diminished and the smiles of approval increased.  As Jung says, that’s one of the marks of any great work of art:  it keeps challenging your mind as you gradually grow to appreciate it.  If their new album doesn’t initially strike me as absolute garbage, I’ll be very disappointed.

I’ve experienced Orange so many times now that when one of its tracks plays on the surprise jukebox, even if I’m not focusing on it, as it ends I find myself starting to hum the next song on the album.
