  Well, since it was CANADA DAY on July 1st???✨??, it’s  now the USA’s turn to celebrate….so:

  For all the USA MLTBuzzLuvGroovies on here, I’m wishing you all a Happy, Safe, Healthy July 4th??✨??…Enjoy…

  It’s easy to remember these celebrations, as we are 3 days apart…. and I Thankyou to all who acknowledged Canada Day  Cheers, it was a rather subdued Canada Day but still wore my Canucker Tshirt with pride, Eh !?

  Thanks, Jacki!  It will probably be pretty subdued here as well, but it’s an excuse to stuff our faces with unhealthy food, which is the freedom that we Americans hold the most dear.

  Thanks for the shout out Jax! Yah it’s gonna be a little subdued but we are getting together with friends for a pool party today. Yesterday was my birthday (1951 do the math). My dad always said I was almost a firecracker! Alas I was just a dud! Thanks to our British friends for letting us colonists go!

  Thanks Jacki and Jung – and Happy belated Dominion Day.  Thought about it and you two all day.  I just wasn’t near the computer to post something and it seemed too late to post something the next day.  Canada is very dear to me and July 1st brings up lots of emotions and appreciation.  I really hope to see more of it someday.  Two years in Alberta that I loved and a trip or two to B.C., but haven’t seen the rest.  Great people, great country, eh.  Some of my dearest friends are from Canada and at least a couple more I’d like to meet someday.

  Thank you Jacki!!  I am on my first post-Covid road trip from Boston to NC……kind of a reverse James Taylor.  It was strange going from state to state and seeing what the rules are in each state when it comes to Covid.  But, I played nice and kept my mask on in public, stayed 6 feet away.  The only time I broke that rule was when it came to old high school mates I had not seen in 50 years…..lotsa hugs there.  Overall…..when it came to fireworks, I would say a bunch of people broke the law.  But, we need to have some normalcy and things from the past to help us remember.  Mike.
