  10,000 Posts!

  If I can add five numbers correctly, there has now been a total of over 10,000 posts made to the various forums.  While perhaps not quite as exciting as 100,000 YouTube subscribers, any growth-related milestone is an occasion to celebrate.

  Well, apparently I spoke too soon, or perhaps from an entirely different temporal dimension, because now there are only about 9,000 posts.

  Wait, I think I’ve figured it out (as if anyone cares).  The “replies” number for each forum is the total number of replies to the original posts, not including the original posts themselves.  I think this column used to be called “posts”, and included the original ones.  So to get the total number of posts we now have to add the five “topics” numbers to the five “replies” numbers.  Tricky, but my calculator has seen worse.

  So now we can count down to 10,000 replies.

  I ordered their two original albums last night and my order number was 100,005.  Somebody out there was their 100,000th customer yesterday!  Perhaps they got a free T-shirt.
