  Dear MonaLisa,
  thank you all very much for putting John Sebastian on my radar screen again.
  I had lost track of him. He’s doing great.

  John has been telling us to believe in magic and painting rainbows all over our blues
  for a long time. He was coming to Berkeley in October but well you know what happened.
