Hello from Northern California
Hello world !
I should have started here first.
My name is Tom Fones. I live in Davis, CA. near Sacramento.
I don’t have a musical bone in my body. I belong in the cheap seats.
But i know what i like. I only recently discovered the twins.
The music is just very fresh and alive in these times.
I posted something to the support/suggestion page first because it started out
as a tribute suggestion but i decided to wait.

Welcome to the best club on the planet Tom. I too don’t have a musical bone in my body, but I do enjoy listening to good music and it doesn’t come better than the MLT.
I have many MLT favourites and many of them are originals. It was initially their ’Bus Stop’ and ’You’re Going to Lose That Girl’ cover videos that got me hooked.

Hello Tom! Welcome to the MLT Club, so glad you joined. Yes MLT music is just what the soul needs these uncertain times. They bring so much beauty in all they do. I don’t know if I’ve been in Davis CA but I’ve been through the Redding – Sacramento – Stockton corridor along the I-5 a couple dozen times over the years on my way down from Vancouver to LA to visit my brother. Really enjoyed that whole area every time I went through stopping over in the many little towns along the way. I’ve taken the 80 between Sacramento to cut over to San Francisco so I may have even stopped in your town who knows.
Again glad you joined, and hope you have a great time here with us all!

Hi Tom,
Welcome to the club. I don’t play any musical instruments either but as long as I’m at home I have music playing in the background all the time. I couldn’t imagine life without it. No matter how crazy the world becomes you can always tun to music to help make sense of it all, for escape or to improve your day. MonaLisa Twins was a recent discovery for me as well & the more I listen to them, the deeper I’m falling under their spell. Their music is addictive. This club is as well. There is a lot of wonderful material here to discover. Enjoy!

A big hello back to Northern California! We must have come pretty close to Davis during our first visit to California when we took a trip to Yosemite National park and the surrounding area. It’s such a beautiful spot on this planet and we hope to be back one day!

Welcome Tom! Have to admit. I do have a couple musical bones – but just the ones in my arms. Used to be ok on the drums and it is still in my blood.
Love that area of California. I’ve taught a number of seminars and been to conventions in the area. Growing up my older brother was in San Jose, so we came to Frisco often (I’m from Utah). It’s been too long now since I enjoyed the awe of the Golden Gate bridge or swung from the Cable Cars. Last time I did that was just before the quake and then the hotel I was supposed to be at was damaged a bit later and I had to reschedule things. Started my real estate investing in Novato. Anyway. Just have a love for California.
Glad you’re here. Hope you enjoy it a whole lot.

I’ve been around the bay area since 1979.
I belong in Silicon Valley but i never wanted to live down there.
Now – we can shelter in place just about anywhere.

Davis is the college town just west of Sac – towards S.F. – right on I-80.
