David, Sesame Street sure did a lot of wonderful musical gems, and some of those cartoon musicals are so well done.  As kids we were exposed to some great music, I especially like the Bugs Bunny music cartoons.  Marth My Dear is such a beautiful song, definitely one of my fave of Paul’s.   Thanks for posting those.

Thomas, wonderful video there, and what a tribute to the Beatles!  Great to see Paul, Ringo, and Yoko too.  Hey Bull Dog is one of my top fave MLT cover of the Beatles.   I had to look up Peter Frampton to see what he looks like these days.  Know him from one of my brothers old Frampton albums long time ago.  I see him there with the red guitar.  Thanks for posting this.

I ‘ve always enjoyed The Littlest Hobo /Little Hobo tv show and it’s theme song and tge TV show/theme song about George the St Bernard, and of course the ever groovy, Scooby Doo and his TV show…lol… to name a few…

I’m not sure but I’m wondering when too many photos or YT links are posted and if there’s  a connection as to  if that causes the weird errors that occur on here with appearances of coding, etc.

How about “Well I’ll be Doggone” by Marvin Gaye?

That’s a good one, Michael, if the category includes songs that allude to dogs in the title but aren’t really ABOUT them.  (The rules are always so murky on these things…)  If we go that route, then we could add Hound Dog (Elvis Presley), Walking the Dog (Rufus Thomas), and Me and You and a Dog Named Boo (Lobo).

Then let me add Bird Dog by the Everly brothers.

I love that one!  It was on my “Fonzie’s Favorites” album, which was my childhood introduction to early rock and roll.

Weird Al Yankovic had a song called Dog Eat Dog.
