a super short guitar question

Hi Angelo,
It’s one of the guitars we bought when we first started playing. It’s supposed to be somewhat of a Gibson 335 copycat, made by a cheap online brand called “Santander”. It was long before we invested in some higher end guitars and it introduced us to different sounds and guitar styles from the usual “strat” style guitars we had in school.
But to be honest it wasn’t a great guitar, especially for beginners. Really heavy, didn’t stay in tune and felt quite clunky in general. But hey, you work with what you got and we felt super sophisticated playing “Smoke On The Water” on it, when we first got started 😛

Thank you so much for your answer, what a relief ! I suppose you have seen the file I made about the history of your guitars. This was the last one that I couldn’t identify, even with the kind help of Tomás.

It’s funny to think that you made your sound quest reverse in respect of the George Harrison’ one.

He started with the Gretsch and evolve towards the Fender Stratocaster sound.

Well anyway, you have demonstrated to be able to make the most of the most modest instruments.

Now that you have some « higher end guitar » as you said, you should enjoy enven more playing.
