“All You Need is Love”
That song has been on my mind during the last hectic time period in the world. A little bit like a visit to the past with the “We Are The World” collaboration. Seeing some of the “Playing For Change” videos recently kind of re-enforced the idea.
Of course Mona and Lisa’s vocals would be phenomenal but maybe even some cameos of other artists – or even MLT Club members. NOT me of course, but some of the club members have good vocal experience. Just a thought. I have some very fond memories of singing “We Are The World” as a group. I don’t remember which part/artist I covered – someone just pointed to me to sing 🙂
I could even hear Mona’s blues harp playing the horns part. Just my brain rambling a little.

John, yes All You Need Is Love would be a very fitting song for these times. A number of Mona and Lisa’s repertoire of songs I think really resonate with these times like Nothing Is In Vain, In It For Love, Count On Me, and covers of Imagine, Here Comes The Sun, Wish You Were Here…and All You Need Is Love would fit in perfectly indeed.

Not a bad idea, One thing I will say there would be a cost involved and copyright etc.

Yes, Canada had it’s own version, ” Tears Are Not Enough”, while UK had ” Do They Know It’s Christmas/Feed The World”, all 3 I recall vividly, and can start singing most off by heart, recall the videos to them…lol
“All You Need Is Love” has that collective sing along approach feelgood vibe…we need to hear these songs about now once more…????
