So to this point, I have a CD player in my car so each day I listen to the Mona Lisa Twins coming home from work, what a great way to unwind and enjoy beautiful and great music. But I bought a new Truck last year and it does not have a CD player so anytime I drive it? I cannot listen to the Mona Lisa Twins so real bummed out BUT! Thank god for my son Josh, he showed me that I can take their music and put it on a clip that holds a ton of music and my truck has an input for this drive and now I listen to the Mona Lisa Twins no matter what car I drive!!! That makes me feel so good! I know I am not up to date with technology but to me? This is sooo cool and I can not believe how much music I can put on this little disk. So I have every album from the twins that I can listen to and just press which one I want to hear. Sorry to sound so out of touch here I am sure you all are well aware of this but to me? I love learning new things and to know that I can listen to the Mona Lisa Twins in the car, work, home it the coolest thing for me!!!

Thank you Jacki, My kids tease me a lot about not being up to date but I tell them, that is why I have you guys!! LOL..My littlle Maddie who is about to turn 8 is years ahead of me in that regard!! LOL..But knowing I can listen to the Mona Lisa Twins in my new truck is great because the sound system in the truck is great and to hear their beautiful voices in harmony is heaven to me!!

I wish I had an 8 year old to help me like you do Bill! I’m so thankful I still have a CD player in my car!

Hi Bill I know what you mean. Back in 2010 when we got our new car, it did not have a CD player, so we went music less in that car for the first little while until our young niece visited and we let her borrow the car. Well she activated the bluetooth and suddenly one day I saw “pairing” come on the dash board and our phones were connected and I could start playing the MP3s! I felt like a dinosaur. But I do miss my old 6 CD changer in my Mustang. 🙂 But I do remember a few decades earlier impressing the heck out of my parents playing NASCAR Racing driving simulation game on my computer and showing off all the latest new computer stuff, like my digital Palm Pilot electronic note book, back in the early 90s, so I guess it is a generational thing.

The best advice I ever heard from tech support,”By any chance do you have kids, or do you know any teenagers? They can probably help you.”

Remember when an FM stereo or a Cassette deck was considered an upgrade. My first car, Grandma’s 1972 Chevelle only had an AM radio.

Ok, one more. My kids didn’t believe me when I told them the high beam switch used to be on the floor and you would press it with your foot.

Blue tooth is awesome. I find it safer than trying to switch CD’s on the highway. I also love putting my device on shuffle to hear my favorites in random order. This usually results in some nice surprises. Mind your driving when Dreams plays. ????????
