Hello Everyone and just checking in to see how you all are doing for Christmas? I have vacation time coming after Christmas to the New Year so looking forward to that for sure. Plan on chopping a bunch of wood for my fireplace and plan on relaxing and enjoying the season.

Hi Bill, I can feel things winding down at work as most people are off next week.  Feeling the peace of the season setting in.  Will be going out on Monday to get some Christmas treats and get ready for Christmas.  Got the Christmas album going, and all is good.  Enjoying the Christmas lights around my neighborhood in the evenings.  Hope you and Maddie and the family have a wonderful Christmas and New year.

Hope everyone has a safe joyful Christmas despite all the craziness out there.

    Hi Bill and all,

Just spending the time relaxing, covid has everyone “trapped” in their homes this year of course. So another day for me alone but it’s all good. As long as I have music and stuff to read I’ll be fine! We had 15″ of snow a few days ago here where I am in N.Y., about half of that has melted away already. More snow possibly Christmas eve/day they say. UGH! Happy holidays to you all!

We’re having a couple friends over Christmas Eve to decorate the tree and then light real candles on it.  Then probably hang out and sing Christmas carols in the front yard.  They’re bringing their accordions over and I’m trying to decide if I can get away with playing the harmonica with them or if I should just grab a guitar.  Christmas Day we’ll be by ourselves, eating well, unwrapping gifts, and facetiming with the grandkids.

Yes it was a very small gathering at our place thanks to Covid. But we did share in some time with our kids and Maddie, and listened to Mona and Lisa Christmas album and Christmas Music. We sat up late and just talked about past Christmas and people who are not with us but enjoyed their memories.

We had our son and his girlfriend over for supper and we talked and laughed and then opened gifts. It was a wonderful Christmas! My wife got to hear the Cavern club CDs and she went “hey they’re really good!” so we have a new fan!

    Michael,

Same here, my wife listened to the Christmas Album and he loves them! I also talked to my nephew who is 40 years old and he is a fan!! Shows you how good Mona and Lisa are!
