So it’s Neil Diamond you’re looking for Jacki. How about this one?
-
Are you talking about “Cherry, Cherry”, Jacki? That sounds like a fun one to work with. For years I struggled to understand the actual lyrics. “She’s got the wasted movement?” “She’s got the worst improvement?”
The tune I’m going to send you came to me in a dream, and coincidentally in the dream the song was sung by Neil Diamond. I don’t remember the words, but I do recall thinking that they were very pretentious.
-
Yes David, that’s the Neil Diamond song.. I agree… A tad off in lyrics Dept…. Lol… But as you can see, I did conjure up a line of my own already…. ???

Hey! Jung? Jung Roe! I thought that was you! Now don’t you tell me you don’t remember me, because I sure as heckfire remember you. Ned! Ryerson!
Did you catch my new TV commercial a couple of months ago?

Bing!!! Am I right, or am I right, or am I right?

Jacki, I’d say that Groundhog Day appeals to the same sensibilities as Back to the Future. If you love one, you’ll love the other.
-
Lol…David, I’m the happy owner of The Back To The Future Trilogy on Video VHS tapes, love all 3 and I perhaps have seen Groundhog Day on tv, just forgot about, it…now that I think about, I think I’ve seen part of it on tv at one time….I like Bill Murray, especially in Ghostbusters, and I think The Great Outdoors too
-
David, yes there were some hilarious moments in the movie, like Ned! Thanks for reminding me. Ground Hog Day is my favorite movie of Bill Murray, and one of the best movies from the 90s in my opinion. Jacki, I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it all.
-
I’m actually not a Bill Murray fan at all, but he was perfectly cast in Groundhog Day. It’s one of the very few movies I’ve seen that I cannot find a single thing to complain or nitpick about. How few is that? It came out in 1993, and it’s still the most recent movie that I’ve put on that list.
-
Well David, it sounds like it passes your very stringent stress test, so it must be a great movie! BTW I just remembered, he learns the piano too during his many Ground Hog days, so for me it is a 6 star movie on a 5 star scale! ?
