Yes David, I love that version best of John’s song… Great Duo ?
-
John Behle: Was your reply with your personal/private email meant for me or was that in reply to someone else?!… Please clarify, Thankyou ?
-
Sorry, I might have posted in the wrong place. It was meant for you Jaci. You said if anyone had Denny Doherty’s album to let you know. So I put an email so you could send me a mailing address and I will mail you the CD if you would like.
-
John: Just sent you an email, be on lookout in your inbox/spam from me…

We’ve had a Duo Session cover from Revolver with “Good Day Sunshine”. The track that follows it on the second side of the album would also make a great Duo Session cover.
“And Your Bird Can Sing” – The Beatles

Just thought of a good one, “looking out my back door” by CCR! Fun little song!

It was so nice to see a Duo Session featuring an original MLT song. And what a beautiful song “Close To You” is.
I’m sure they would have played this Beatles’ number live at some stage, but don’t recall seeing a recording, unless there’s one in one of their many live radio sessions. I think it would make a great Duo Session cover. You can find it at the six minute mark in the video recording attached.
We Can Work It Out – The Beatles (featuring Sir Paul solo)

Hi Howard, I agree on ” We Can Work It Out” song choice, I may have somewhere else on this forum suggested/ mentioned that song choice in another poster thread , because I have also thought of them doing that song as well, and/or someone else on the forum has thought the same, for I’m sure I’ve seen mention of this song come up elsewhere on here… music like minded minds think alike….lol?

Well you’ve got forever to enjoy ”Close to You” Jung. You will also have another Duo Session to enjoy within a month.

I remember in the early 90s on one of my 2 week adventure road trips in my first Mustang along the west coast from Vancouver BC down to Southern California, I had U2 “Joshua Tree” album in the car. I got into a groove with that album and listened to it over and over for the entire trip, and every single song on that wonderful album got engraved in my head. Now whenever I hear a song from that album, I always get transported back to the beautiful west coast of Oregon and California.
For another Duo Session suggestion, I wonder if U2 “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” would be well suited for an acoustic version. Lots of beautiful guitar riffs and breathtaking vocals and harmonies.

They did do this on their MLT & Band 2007 Concert CD, it was good, (if it wasn’t this song by U2, my apologies but I do recall them doing a U2 song on the CD)perhaps an updated Duo Session version of it could transpire, one day….
-
Jacki, they did indeed do a U2 song on the 2007 concert album. It was “One” in which we are treated to a rare performance of Rudolf doing the main vocals.

It is the perfect time for this beautiful MonaLisa Twins original to be given an acoustic Duo Sessions makeover.
