Favourite MLT album cover
So, what’s your favourite MLT album cover art? MLT have so far released 9 albums:

9..The MLT Club Duo SessionsFor me it’s been a tie between California Dreaming, BAM 3, and Orange. The picture of very young Mona and Lisa running down San Francisco’s Lombard street holding hands is so sweet on the California Dreaming album. The BAM 3 cover for some reason really stand out, capturing Mona and Lisa in top form jamming on their Ricky and Gretsch guitars. The warm yellow stage back light gives it a warm appealing feel. With Orange, seeing the both of them being splashed in orange paint is so outrageous and the thematic orange colour that dominates the cover is brilliant.
But then out of the blue came “The MLT Club Duo Sessions” album with such intricate art work with so much detail and imagery. Every song on the album is represented visually on the album cover. I’ve found most of them, but it’s still a work in progress. For me this cover art symbolizes the quality craftsmanship (as illustrated in the photoshop video), attention to detail, ingenuity, and artistic beauty and elegance that go into everything MLT create. So my favorite album cover is The MLT Club Duo Sessions.

Hey Jung, Mine would be Orange. After seeing what was involved in making that cover themselves. Great family effort by all.

I’d have to go for Christmas, because of the photo’s strong “we don’t take ourselves too seriously” vibe. If I didn’t know who they were, and I just happened to come across that album in a music store, I might buy it based on that picture alone.
I also like the When We’re Together photo:Â it has a friendly, welcoming quality that meshes with the happy, upbeat nature of most of the songs.

Again, great question. Tie between the Beatles and more 3 because of how they are smiling and having a good time, and The Orange Album again seeing what was involved in making the cover was awesome. So how cool is that with Papa and Michelle in on making that cover? Wow that says so much for why we all love the Mona Lisa Twins, it is a group effort and to see the love and fun they all have for each other is awesome and reminds me of yester year when my kids little and how we did everything together! But I do love the Duo Sessions album and again all the work and effort in putting that together is wonderful! Thanks Jung and Howard and Joseph for your great efforts in the club!!!And the rest of the club members.

Well, I can’t just pick any specifically, so I’m going to say All Equally in their own creative and appearance sake but….I will for this posting sake  only …have chosen what creatively stands out and catches my eyes….Duo Sessions, Orange.

I really appreciate the cottage industry approach MLT take in every aspect of their music creation. The personal touch that goes into everything they do with much love and pride is so rare these days and ultra special.
