Mona and Lisa, another great thing you do, is you capture the essence of everything that was good about the 60s decade, and bring the message and vibe of brilliant artists like the Beatles and Bob Dylan from that time to the present. All the strife and conflict that plagued humanity 60 years ago, seem to repeat itself today, and the music artists today seem a little lost in their message. The music of today lack substance and tend to be frivolous and negative. This picture from your 2013 “This and That” photo archive posting reminded me that in a lot of ways, you embody the spirit and talent of 60’s music culture. Sociologists point out the 60’s decade was one of the most creative decades of modern times with the Civil Rights Movement, brilliant music and art, and technological advances, for example: Martin Luther King, The Beatles, and The Moon Landing…. Your original music embody the poetry and song writing greatness of the 60’s legends like the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle and many others. We are all so fortunate to have you as the world needs your music more than ever today.

The pen manufacturer, Montblanc, has honored the Beatles and John Lennon over the years for their great artistic achievements. They honor many great artists over the ages like Shakespeare. They’ve written a few very inspiring paragraphs about John Lennon and his impact on society in some of the literature that comes with Montblanc pens to commemorate John Lennon. I wanted to share a few of them here, handwritten with a flex pen that seemed fitting. As MLT carry on the tradition of the artistry of the Beatles today, I feel these words are very fitting here.

Thanks Jacki! I will try to do more drawing stuff too. Maybe starting with simple things like John Lennon’s face sketch which is part of his signature. 🙂
