    Hi David,

a very nice idea. Did you have a specific timeline in mind? Otherwise, I spontaneously jump back a good bit into the past:

PS: does the video play now?

      Hey, Juergen!

Yes, I was thinking of the 1960’s, plus or minus a few years, but anything’s good. I’ve come up with seven so far, but I didn’t think of the one you posted here!

By the way, although I can see the title, I’m getting a “video unavailable” message. (Update: your new version works; thanks!)

We had already talked about Ricky Nelson in another topic. I don’t know if this song was mentioned there. Anyway. It’s a nice song.

Yay, that’s the answer to the challenge question! Now what’s his other fool song?

Hi David, the bonus challenge I have smoothly overlooked. The text has hidden somewhere under the video link. 🙂

Is this second title of Ricky Nelson wanted?

Hi David, the song that comes to mind immediately for me is this one. This takes me back to the early Beach Boys compilation albums I got in my early teens.

      Jung,

      be careful.

You did what i’ve been doing. You repeated the URL.

But the link seems to work.

      Cheers

I am not sure if this is the original version. The song was also released by „Ray Brown & Whispers“ in 1965. And „The Clovers“ had a song of the same name in the ’40s.

I hadn’t heard that one, Juergen, although I know the singer. He touched a lot of kids of our generation with a song called It’s All Right to Cry.

Country singer Dottue West’s …” When Two Fools Collide “, and I’m sure there is a Patsy Cline Song, and a Dusty Springfield song with “Fool” mentioned somewheres ….lol….

Frankie Lymin’s ” Why Do Fools Fall In Love ” …etc
