On the video for Won’t You Listen Now, Lisa is playing a Framus 12 string with a trem bar.  I was wondering how well (or unwell) the guitar stays in tune when the trem bar is used.

Hi Daniel! It’s quite the monster and it sounds fantastic but I wouldn’t rely on it to stay in tune for a live performance. Or at least, I wouldn’t touch the tremolo during a show 🙂 But in the studio, where you can re-tune after each take, it is perfect for adding some great and totally unique effects Like the intro to “Nothing Is in Vain” for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3JnZBz0Zro
But yes, not the most reliable when it comes to STAYING in tune.

So that is how you guys got that unique intro sound on Nothings in Vain.  Always wondered.  It really adds to the character of that song.  Apparently there is a very famous symphony that starts off like that, off tune for the same effect hundreds of years ago.  I just cant remember what symphony that was.  Its really late here.  I guess great musical minds think alike. ????
