Gretsch Duo Jet – A short history
Here is a really informative and fun video on the history of the Gretsch Duo Jet – Lisa’s guitar!
It describes how the Duo Jet came about in response to Gibson and Fender’s Les Paul and Telecaster solid body guitars in the early 1950s. The video gives a nice history of Gretsch and all the famous guitarists who favored their Gretsch for that incomparable “Gretsch sound”.
