Brand new AC DC Oct 2020! Shot in the Dark. The legends keep rocking!
Nephew Stevie Young takes Malcolm Young’ place on rhythm guitar. Great to see the guitar line up stay in the family.

The Beatles song touted to have started heavy metal, Helter Skelter.
Do you have any fave Halloween songs or anything that might fit the occasion?

Hey Jung,
Great Picks. Not sure if you know who wrote Black Magic Women?
It was Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac .

Jung – Great one. The Kinks – Wicked Annabella. I need to play this cd today. Have not heard in a while. Something to do today. Thanks Jung.
Also enjoyed the Beach Boys Monster Mash. Never knew they did the Mash. Not sure if this is a Halloween song. but including it anyway.
Everyone have a great Halloween

Of course, everything was scarier when we were kids, and I shivered at this Electric Company song, with Morgan Freeman killing it as Dracula. The show was full color, but this copy is taken from a black and white kinescope, which makes it even more sinister.

Joe, great Fleetwood Mac version there (the original) with awesome guitar work, enjoyed that. Forgot that rock side of Fleetwood Mac. Since their Rumours album, always saw them more as a pop band, but they have that rock and roll guitar streak.  Like the Purple People Eater, but for me it has more the effect of a cute, somewhat nasty, Muppet! 🙂
David, nice ones there. That last one reminded me of the “Nightmare Theater”. In Vancouver we get several Seattle local TV stations, and one of them played horror flicks every Friday night at midnight, and the “Count” would arise out of his coffin to introduce and briefly comment about the evening feature horror flick. Always enjoyed these in my early teens. I like the old classic horror movies with Frankenstein, vampires and werewolves. Here is a clip from a special Halloween version from 1978.
