Jung this was a great album for George Harrison material. He cracked the Lennon McCartney barrier. He really had a up hill battle to get his songs on albums. He got the opening track Taxman and two others. Your favorite I Want To Tell You and Love you To. Also expanded his Sitar playing on this album.

Considered to be Georges best written song to date in 1965 on Rubber Soul, MLT collaboration with Mike Masse on this one honored George brilliantly.

Hey Joe, yeah this collaboration cover really shines. We are treated to Lisa’s great work on the bass here and on the Toto Africa cover, is there anything she can’t do? The lead guitar work throughout by Mona on the Rickenbacker is absolutely delightful.
On the “Africa” cover, Steve Lukather of Toto said of Mona and Lisa “the girls are killer”. I am sure if George Harrison heard this “If I Needed Someone” cover his reaction would be very similar.

Hey Jung love your choice of words The Girls Are Killer – Yea they are very talented and I hope one day when this covid is gone and life is normal. They do some concerts. I really want to see them. I’m sure you do too.
Hopefully it happens. They are on my bucket list with a few other bands.Have you gotten the shot for covid yet?
I’m still waiting. I have registered and there seems to be a delay. That’s because noting is organized in the states. They need to get their act together. My opinion Biden a jerk.

Hi Joe, the vaccine roll out in Canada is slow going still, we are way behind the USA at half the per capita rate of people vaccinated. I am in the phase 3 age range for vaccinations (50s) and will likely be around June. In most places they are vaccinating 80+ people currently, but they are targeting end of September to have everyone vaccinated in Canada if there are no more unforeseen vaccine production delays.

Hey Jung, Yea I am in the same boat. Just waiting. Biden said yesterday we will have enough vaccine that everyone will be vaccinated by the end of May. We shall see…. Have a good day my friend.

Hey Joe, that would be great, then everyone can have a normal summer again, and travel! With the new Astra Zeneca vaccine just approved in Canada (the 3rd vaccine now) provinces are going to start targeting under 65 right away, so vaccinations might proceed faster here. Will keep the fingers crossed. All the best Joe!
