My idea of celebrating Canada Day ~July 1st/2021

Jacki, it looks like you celebrated Canada Day in good style! I haven’t had a proper Tim Hortons treat in a while. Timbits covered in powdery white icing sugar that melts in your mouth and a double double coffee to wash it down.

Thomas, I can only vouch for the bear likely being Canadian! 🙂 Though he looks like one of the ones I’ve seen around here. Here you could be doing a barbecue and in the few minutes you turn your back to attend to the grill, you could have a new guest at the table.

Yeah, it’s terrible what happened in Lytton, I drove through there in the summer of 2019 to visit a friend. Beautiful desert ranch country dotted with small towns like that. There were some 50 new fires across the province over a 24 hours period triggered by lightening.
