Here’s one of my favorite old Irish tunes, as covered by Don McLean:

It makes me feel Irish in the same way that Mull of Kintyre makes me feel Scottish.

I know I’m late to the party and St Patricks Day is over in most parts of the globe, but it’s still St Paddy’s Day here on the lonely pacific westcoast of NA for another couple hours anyway, so happy belated St Paddy’s Day everyone, and may the luck of the Irish follow us all at the MLT Club throughout the year!!! 🙂

We always get a lot of moss in the temperate rain forest here in the pacific northwest, and the moss always reminds me of Irish Green and Leprechauns, so I thought I’d share my moss covered tree. My fence deteriorated over the last year of the pandemic that I have to get redone this spring. Neighbour said it’s the black bears that cross our backyards at night climbing over the fences in the process. Early on during the lockdowns last spring In the UK with the absence of people the goats took over, but here maybe it was the black bears and racoons! 🙂

Black bears and raccoons are a good sign.
Nature is alive and well up there.

    Moss is good too.

Hi Thomas, yes it’s good to see nature alive and well, and moss and all things green may be good in many ways. I found this that I posted a while ago, but thought fitting to repost here given the St Patrick’s Day spirit this week and all things green. Beethoven did spend a lot of time in the forest for creative inspiration.
