• Hello from Colorado!

    Greetings from Colorful Colorado,

I discovered the MLT when I was on YouTube looking for “Please Please Me” by Paul McCartney. I have always loved the Beatles and was just blown away after watching a few of the MLT covers, interviews and videos. Having played in a couple of “Garage Bands” many years ago, I did not let my lack of musical talent hinder my utmost admiration for the wonderful talent I was observing and listening to.

I joined the Club right before Christmas and I am truly thrilled to be a small part of this musical journey. I am an Assistant Football Coach (American Football) and I have learned to respect and appreciate hard work. For if your values are clear. the decisions are easy.  I absolutely love the warm and loving values and respect for each other constantly displayed by the MLT Team/Wagner family. To me, it is a pleasure to support a family with such a true value for hard work.

I think your Covers are wonderful and just pure joy and improvement over the originals. I thought the recent Christmas Album was the Best Christmas Album in Decades! With the original “All I want Christmas to Be,” the Twins didn’t just hit a Home Run (American Baseball), they hit it out of the flipping park! I truly hope that it is destined to be a Classic, move over “White Christmas.”

I am also a huge fan of your original music. There is something very special with their originals and I can’t wait to hear the new album in the future. I have adjusted my daily routine to listen to the MLT in both the beginning and the end of my day. Thank you for your wonderful music!

I know I join the many ardent and loyal members in wishing the MLT every success!

Welcome to the club Keith. I think you are going to fit in very well indeed. Those fine words of yours about the MLT and the Wagner family in general are shared by all of us here!

The Wagners certainly know a lot about the values of hard work and self discipline, for which we reap the rewards on a daily basis here.

A very warm welcome Keith, so glad you joined.  Love reading what you wrote, and couldn’t agree more with all you said!

I was in your neck of the woods last year on a business trip.  Stayed in Boulder for a couple of days as well as Denver.  Beautiful cities and country, reminds me of Calgary with the wide open country and the great Rockies to the west!  Funny story, it was around April and on the Monday it was a balmy 75 degrees, and 48 hour later they shut down the Denver airport because of a massive snow storm that just came out of nowhere, so I got to stay an extra few nights more in Denver to enjoy some winter wonderland.  I enjoyed my time there from nice weather to all the excitement of the snow storm!  🙂

    Jung,

Thanks much for your warm welcome and kind words. I was sorry to hear you got caught in one of our Spring Colorado snow storms last year. Spring in Colorado is absolutely beautiful, but as you pointed out the weather can change quickly.

Being a former “Garage Band” (Rhythm and Bass) member, I have truly enjoyed your recent posts on guitars. I have found the posts very informative and helps greatly to understand which guitars the MLT are using and why. Thanks again.

    Welcome Keith!

Sounds like my similar journey a year ago.  It was a Beatles search  and running across “Drive My Car” that hooked me.  “Please Please Me” is one of my favorites too.  Each new video was like a new gourmet meal.  I totally agree about their Christmas album.  I think their new song and video is the best Christmas song I’ve ever heard.  The other songs are great and Santa Baby makes me smile every time I think of it or hear it.

Such great humor and creativity and professionalism in all that they do.  Their skills and beautiful voices just awe me.  But the combination of everything, like you mentioned, is what most gets me.  Great skills, great voices, great people.  Such an awesome family.  Add to that the wonderful people here and it is exactly like they describe it “The grooviest place on the internet”.

    Hi John,

Thank you for your welcome and sharing your journey to and with the MLT Club. It does seem indeed seem like we have had similar journeys in getting here. I agree with everything you said about their recent Christmas Album. What a wonderful album with such a delightful upbeat kick butt Rock N Roll version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” to the brilliantly done “Santa Baby.” I also loved the video of “Wonderful Christmastime” where the twins are having fun and getting a bit sassy-a good thing.

I totally agree that the original “All I Want Christmas to Be” is the best Christmas song I have ever heard. I believe it is destined to be a Christmas Classic. That is why I have called their Christmas Album the Best Christmas Album in Decades.

When one reflects briefly and looks at the beautiful voices, vast and considerable musical skill sets, hard working, humble, humorous and loving family combined with the loving and caring MLT Club, this is a great place to be! Thanks again.
