just wanted to say thank you to MLT for the video chat yesterday here i thought I couldn’t come up with enough stuff but after talking to the mona and Lisa a hour wasn’t long enough we could have talked for 2 hours or more if I wasn’t sleep deprived from a double shift before the chat but once we started it was like talking to 2 old friends

Hey, John, I’m glad to hear the call went well! I had been imagining that if I had that opportunity, I would dissolve into a drooling lump of flesh with a vacant grin plastered on my face. Thanks for reassuring me (and probably a lot of other club members) that Mona and Lisa can make such an encounter an awesome and unintimidating experience.

Hi John,

I was the other winner and talked to them on Sunday. I agree. Could’ve talked to them for hours!!! I told them they were so cool and down to earth. I felt like we could just totally hang out as friends. Such a rare treat! I’m so glad you had the same experience

  hello i am also glad you felt the same way i even told them if or when i win the lottery ill bring them over to play in Dixon and now salt lake ,i thing i ask/told is how i came across them, how did you find them? and that goes for everybody who reads this how did you find MLT

  I love the Beach Boys’ ‘God Only Knows’. About 5 years ago, I pulled it up on YouTube and found the MLT rendition. The rest is history.

  Like a lot of us, I discovered MLT when one of their videos showed up while I was perusing YouTube. It was When I’m Sixty-Four, and I clicked on it because I love that song and I’ve never heard anyone cover it before. I was impressed enough to check out their channel, where I found their take on Maxwell’s Silver Hammer: another sleeper favorite that I never thought I’d see anyone cover. The rarity of song choices drew me in, but it was their musical talent and production effort and sunny disposition that ultimately hooked me.

Hey, Diana! I don’t doubt that you had an amazing time! I suppose that’s pretty much the ultimate MLT experience, short of being backstage at a concert. So far I’ve had no luck with any MLT giveaways, but that’s just a little extra motivation for me to keep tuning in.

Thanks for passing on the Janitor Joe anecdote to them! Groovy to hear that they found it interesting.

Diana, David, in regards to Janitor Joe, my plan the first day I retire, whenever that will be, is to get into my space craft, which will be another Mustang preferably, maybe a vintage 60s model, and do the grand daddy road trip of them all, the old Route 66 from Santa Monica CA to Chicago while listening to Janitor Joe. Freedom at last! Love that song.

  Thanks Jacki ! I told them that I would be at their next concert (even if I have to fly to Liverpool). They didn’t mention any future concert plans, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they start doing a few live performances now that the album is finished.
