Posted by Jung Roe on 12/03/2020 at 22:14As the original thread “How did you experience your MLT joy today?” is getting long, I tought I’d continue on a new one for easier viewing.
Today’s MLT Joy: Listening to some of the finest guitar music ever made played so masterfully by Mona and Lisa. They are indeed not only the finest singers around today, but finest guitarists too.

On March 10th, I listened to MLT throughout the day… It helped me cope, uplift my mood /spirits.
While today, I listened to MLT songs that mention Sun and Sunshine and gives off that nice Spring like vibe that I long for in eager anticipation… ??

Today playing along with MLT’s “June”! Just the rhythm parts, I’m no Lisa Wagner on the guitar!

I listened to my latest CD purchase in the car all day. When We’re Together is one of those CDs that every song is wonderful! No skipping tracks for your favorite! Every one is supurb! The uplifting harmonies, the way your voices sooth the soul. The musicianship is amazing and arrangements couldn’t be better! Puts a smile on my face every time I hear their songs! Definitely a joy to behold! God Bless this family!

Hi Thomas. I think it would be so awesome to be able to play along on guitar on an MLT song like June. You are so lucky to be able to do that. -

Hi William. For me too, cruising along listening to an MLT CD is one of my fave things to do. Christmas time was especially nice with the new Christmas album. When “Walking in The Air” song would come on, I felt like taking off. I’m lucky I didn’t get a speeding ticket. -
A little creative groove while listening to some MLT Jukebox tonight.

After an hour long practice on the piano those scales, chords and simple tunes are starting to feel more natural, and progress is being made. It is an exhilarating feeling like after a short run work out when I notice some progress is being made because I’m able to run further without having to stop to catch my breath. It made me stop and think that from a benefit to the body perspective, music instrument practice is as much a brain work out as running is to your cardio vascular system.
I’ve read and seen plenty of videos over the years how music is good for the brain, but this little video really explains it in an intriguing and impactful way.
https://youtu.be/R0JKCYZ8hngSo indulge in the MLT Duo Sessions, early access, and live concert videos at the MLT Club, turn on the Jukebox often, do those MLT puzzles, and play around with a musical instrument that suits you, or get inspired by the photography and artwork. If you like guitar, there are plenty of MLT chords to download. The MLT Club is good for you in so many ways!!!!
Love it here at the club!
