i don’t know birds that well either
Mona–Lisa, this will be my last question here because you do indeed cover everyone’s question and after a while it might be ‘kind of a drag’. (Buckinghams?)
One of my favorite songs of your original works is I DON’T KNOW BIRDS THAT WELL. I remember seeing the title before listening and thinking–oh–this could be Joni Mitchel-ish ie: I DON’T KNOW CLOUDS AT ALL.
But I listened to your song and immediately realized it was of course completely original. But under the subject of Joni Mitchel, have you considered covering her? (if you’ve already covered her your other fans will set me straight I’m sure! 😉 Her songs don’t seem to be in your niche though I feel like you are probably slightly influenced by her. (she uses so many different tunings that I find to be difficult to cover as a full band)
And frankly I think it’s an insult to say your music falls in a specific *niche*–isn’t that French word? But see I go off on tangents so this will be my last question.
I’m really excited about what you two birds and your crew and family have created here—here’s to your Clubhouse success!
