Josh is great, a fantastic musician! We haven’t had the chance to meet/catch him live but it’s fun following his musical journey.
Same goes for Julia Nunes. She was probably one of the first musicians we ever watched on YouTube. More than 10 years ago, old-school YouTube 🙂 Great to know she’s still out there doing her thing!

At the moment we have so much on our plates that we’re not scheduling in any concerts but we’re sure we’ll get back to that eventually. At the moment we’re all about the new album, new videos and a few other projects we’ll talk more about as the year progresses.

Thanks for the more outside-the-box song suggestions. The list of cover song wishes is looong but we’ll just add them to it 🙂

Thanks for your answer Lisa, I must confess that although I have followed Julia a lot longer than you guys, she is also the reason I found the Monalisa Twins. Whenever I was on Youtube watching one of her videos, your cover of God only knows would be in the sidebar as a suggested video. I am ashamed to tell you that it took a couple of months before I finally played it. I’ve never forgiven myself for waiting that long!

I agree with you about Josh, it would be fantastic if you could work out something with him, like you did with Mike Masse’.

Hi Robert.

Just like you…  I also was watching a Julia Nunes video (“All My Loving”) when I first came across the MonaLisa Twins videos.  Julia’s version of “All My Loving” is still my favorite cover of that song. She is so sweet and full of happiness in that video.  I think she was making her videos out of her college dorm back then. She sings harmony with herself and plays the uke.

A few years later she was actually on the Tonight show.  Would love to see Mona & Lisa play on some of the late night shows some day.

Hi Michael, my first Julia Nunes video was  God Only Knows, which probably explains why Lisa kept popping up in the sidebar.( I didn’t really understand how YouTube worked back then, barely do now). Yeah, most of her early vids were done in her dorm rooms, some, like All My Loving were done at her house in Rochester, N. Y. Somewhere on YouTube there is an interview where she says she believes she was the first to edit in the video of her singing harmony with herself. I’m glad she put those early videos back up. One of my favorites is Build Me Up Buttercup a song from my youth, it also has a bit of blooper reel at the end.

I too, would like to see Mona & Lisa on T.V. or at least in person!
