Here is a delightful little space song by the Kinks. Is that a uke or banjitar I hear? Maybe even an accordion at one point, and a trombone at the end.

And just for a mind bending experience for the weekend, what has the latest New Horizon and Voyager 2 space probes discovered recently. Could there be an edge to our solar system and what is beyond the edge of our universe?

The narrator doesn’t say what the solar system limit is.
    Just that it exists.
A limit to solar wind plasma penetrating outward into hydrogen.

Here is some more from Mars

Thomas, that is fascinating! We are seeing another world here like never before in such detail. The landscape look like areas around Death Valley and Palm Springs in the Mojave desert. Like the background music. Thanks for sharing it.

Seeing those deserts on Mars and on earth somehow reminds me of this video from another desert down under.

I never heard this song before MLT. What a little gem, love their raw, passionate, and expressive acoustic version all the way from Ayers Rock.

I’m certainly not accusing you of this, Jung, but you just reminded me of the people who look at pictures from the surface of Mars on the internet and post comments like “Fake! That’s not Mars; that’s Arizona!”

I always want to reply, “Arizona is a dry, rocky desert. So is Mars. Why would you expect it to look any different?”

LOL. David I see some resemblance between Arizona and Mars, and nowadays with photoshop you can do anything. Lisa showed us at least a couple of times the magic she can weave with it. The big trick is trying to convince people that Arizonians are Martians. 🙂

The drones are everywhere! Now on Mars too! LOL. I can just imagine the video footages we are going to be able to see from the “air” soon from Mars.

I came across an amateur photographer with just a camera like mine with a big zoom lens, and a tripod, filming different planets in the solar system at night and it is amazing. You can actually see the rings of Saturn and the many moons of Jupiter trailing behind Jupiter as they gradually float across the night sky. Amazing what affordable consumer grade technology can do nowadays. My next space photography task is to capture the rings of Saturn and those moons of Jupiter, and maybe a UFO/Starman or two.

When mainstream media and government politicians start raising concerns over these increasing UFO sightings by the military, it’s starting to sound real. Are we in for a mind blowing revelation soon! After 2020, nothing can surprise me. Will be interesting to see what the official Pentagon report reveals to the US Congress soon.

The new awesome MLT original “Janitor Joe” has an interesting relevance to current events.

I’ve seen other videos where experts indicate the current UFO sightings are very similar to reports the US Govt has from decades ago going back 50 years, so some speculate it is unlikely it is recent advanced technology from other countries, and more likely from out of this world.

Okay, as a dedicated skeptic I have to weigh in on this. All we have right now are the equivalent of blurry photos of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster. Weird radar and video blips could be explained by something as mundane as technologically sophisticated pranksters producing and projecting their own signals. (I’m reminded of an episode of The Brady Bunch where Greg used a bedsheet and a flashlight to convince Bobby that he had seen a flying saucer.)

If they want to demonstrate that these are actual physical entities, they should photograph them from a couple of vantage points simultaneously so that their exact locations can be triangulated, and then send some instruments to those locations to get better views and some in situ measurements that show the atmosphere reacting somehow to their motion through it.

To claim that these blips are alien spacecraft based on current information is equivalent to ancient people observing lightning bolts and concluding that they must be produced by a lightning god.
