John Lennon
The Twins have done great justice to John’s songs and its unfortunate that we lost him 41 years ago today. I had the privilege of meeting him in May of 1975, and spoke with him for a few minutes. He was a genuine nice person, and I’m sure he wold have loved all the covers that the Twins have done over the years along with their talent for new songs.

Hi Tom. I remember I was in my room doing homework at night when I heard on the radio the news out of New York. The loss of John Lennon was all everyone talked about the next day at school. Such a tragic loss to the world of a great man.

One of my all time favourite songs created by John Lennon. Absolutely love MLTs version that honours him so wonderfully in full beauty and magnificence John would be proud of.

Have you ever heard this song. It’s from David Gilmour’s solo album “About Face” 1984. I saw this tour from second row pit. It was phenomenal.
The bass is played by Pino Palladino. Who needs frets?
It’s a beautiful song about a tragic loss to mankind.
