John Prine
American singer/songwriter John Prine is very sick with covid-19. A song of his that the twins could do is Speed of the Sound of Loneliness. I know you have a lot on your plate right now (and always is suppose) but it would be a nice tribute. (maybe a duo session?) Just a thought. Don’t worry if you can’t get to it, everything you do is such a delight!

It is so sad that John Prine passed away since you submitted this question. May he rest in peace ♥
Unfortunately, we weren’t very familiar with his music before we heard the bad news, and his work has never been on our radar over here in Europe. Since we still don’t know a lot about his work or have a deep connection to his music, playing one of his songs as a tribute would feel a bit inappropriate from our part. But we do appreciate the suggestion and the fact that you think we would do his music proud.

Thank you for your thoughtful and kind reply. Being an American it never occurred to me that you wouldn’t be a fan of an admittedly niche folk/country artist. I just assumed that because I love all the musical influences you do that you would of course know everything I love! I really admire how you ladies take the time to read and reply to all of your fans! I know how busy you are making your art! Love to you and your family!
