John Sebastian and Arlen Roth Explore the Spoonful Songbook
Kudos to Mona and Lisa for their wonderful “vocal support” on the new CD of Lovin’ Spoonful classics by John Sebastian and Arlen Roth! What a nice surprise to receive the CD today and see the photo of the girls with John when I unfolded the case, and what high words of praise from Mr. Sebastian in the liner notes: “What they added to our project was the sibling harmonies one only hears with the Everlys, the Louvins, the Boswell Sisters…” Nice!

Thanks Paul for letting us know. Never heard nothing about John even doing a new cd. This is awesome. Ordered from Amazon.
Listened to most of the tunes (listening to them as I type) and they are excellent. I especially like the ones with MLT!
I definitely recommend getting it.

I had recalled awhile back ago that the mentioning MLT were doing backing vocals on John’s CD project,(either it was an MLT interview or in a posting they made)this one…. will be ordering it eventually, but in the meantime, I’ve added it to my Spotify playlist to enjoy… Loved MLT’s added harmonies, it just works and all complimentary with each other, intertwines awesomely. Yes, it’s highly recommended that one adds to their Spotify Playlist or whichever streaming yiu use and buy the CD.. MLT can add their #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified Midas Magic touch to any musical project with others, on their own….Barone, Bonafide ????☮
